In life, we tend to overlook our achievements when they don’t seem significant enough. We forget that every small step and win brings us closer to our main goals and aspirations.
We forget how much smaller victories matter. How a small win makes up for the big picture. They might not seem like much, but they’re important building blocks for our future.
Every accomplishment, no matter how small, is a step in the right direction and brings us closer to achieving our true intentions.

It’s easier to keep up with small improvements than one major goal. Progress is made through one’s journey toward achieving a goal, and every milestone is important and teaches us a lesson.
It’s like training for a marathon. You would never attempt a marathon without first practicing, without a plan based on milestones. Milestones that are grounded in progress and checkpoints. You would probably plan on adding 0.5km every two weeks to your training or something similar.
That’s the best way to keep up with your progress, and keep yourself motivated, and not overwhelmed. Every time you check a milestone, every time you visualize your progress, no matter how tiny, you gain a boost of confidence. You feel reenergized and refocused on our journey.
Celebrate your achievements, no matter how small they may seem
This will help you to acknowledge your progress and feel motivated to continue working towards your goals. So take a moment to give yourself the credit you deserve, whether it’s for completing a project at work or a hobby.
Reward yourself for your achievements by doing something you enjoy. You can treat yourself to a delicious meal, watch an episode of your favorite show, or go for a bike ride. You can also create a celebratory habit. For example, every last Sunday of the month, you can treat yourself to pizza. (that’s my celebratory habit after a long run on Sundays).
Don’t forget to share your achievements with your loved ones too – they’ll be proud of you and it’s always nice to have their support and encouragement.
Remember, you are capable of achieving great things, so celebrate your efforts and keep up the good work!
