About six years ago, my boyfriend at the time had a litter of puppies. I really wanted one, but I was still living with my mum, and she wasn’t keen on the idea of having another pet.
One day, my boyfriend invited my mum and me to have lunch at his place. As we were about to leave, he asked us to wait for a brief moment.
We brought out three puppies and his dogs.
My mum immediately cuddled the puppies and couldn’t get enough of them. He then announced that one of the puppies was a gift.
His tactic worked perfectly. I returned home with a puppy, the best gift I’ve ever received.
I’ve had Meeko for six years, and he’s my best friend. I consider him a member of the family ❤
